Frequently Asked Questions

What services do you offer?

We provide individual, couple, and family therapy for a variety of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, stress management, and more. We also offer specialized services such as trauma-focused care, EMDR, and faith-based counseling (upon request).

How can I schedule an appointment?

You can schedule an appointment by calling our main office, emailing us, or using our online contact form. Our administrative staff will help you find a time and therapist that suits your needs.

Do you accept insurance?

Yes, we work with many major insurance providers. To find out if we accept your specific plan, please contact our office. If we do not accept your plan, we can provide a superbill for out-of-network benefits.

What are your fees if I don’t use insurance?

Our standard session fee varies by provider and can range from $100-200 for a 50-minute session. We also offer sliding-scale options for clients in financial need, depending on therapist availability. Please contact our office for details about payment options and any discounts that may apply.

How long is each therapy session?

A standard therapy session is approximately 50 minutes. However, the length can vary based on individual needs, treatment goals, and the therapist’s recommendation.

Is therapy confidential?

Yes. We take your privacy very seriously and abide by HIPAA regulations. Your therapist will not share anything discussed in sessions without your written consent, except in rare circumstances such as immediate risk of harm to self or others or other legal exceptions.

What can I expect in my first session?

In your first session, your therapist will spend time getting to know you, discussing your reasons for seeking therapy, and exploring your goals. You’ll also have an opportunity to ask questions and establish a treatment plan together.

Do you offer telehealth (online therapy) sessions?

Yes. We offer secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth sessions for clients who prefer to meet online or cannot attend in person. Telehealth sessions are conducted via a secure video platform. Contact us to learn more about scheduling an online appointment.

What age groups do you serve?

We work with clients of all ages, from children 6+ to older adults. If you have questions about whether we are a good fit for your specific age group or concern, please reach out to us.

How do I know if therapy is right for me?

Therapy can benefit anyone experiencing challenges with mental health, relationships, or personal growth. If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply want to develop healthier coping strategies, therapy can be a valuable resource. During an initial consultation, we can help determine if our services align with your needs.

How often will I need to come in for therapy?

Session frequency varies per individual and depends on the nature of your concerns and your therapist’s recommendations. Some clients benefit from weekly sessions, while others may attend bi-weekly or monthly. You and your therapist will discuss a schedule that best supports your goals.

What is your cancellation policy?

We request that you provide at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Cancellations made within 24 hours may incur a late-cancellation fee. For more details, please refer to our Cancellation Policy in your initial paperwork.

Do you prescribe medication?

We do not prescribe medications. However, we collaborate with psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, and primary care physicians when medication management is recommended. We can provide referrals if needed.
